Thank you to those who attended the Sheep and Beef Event 2016

The Sheep and Beef Event was held on Friday 12th August 2016 at Welshpool Livestock Market. It was again a very successful event. Over 500 farmers attended the event this year to listen to topical speakers and visit a wide range of trade exhibitors. Visitors to the event were able to gain the most up to date information from the industry – and also be treated to some free gifts!

The Sheep and Beef Event is a one-day event. It has been developed by Wynnstay to satisfy a need in the market for a joint sector event for farmers across the United Kingdom.

The event features and focuses upon the wide range of industry trade stands, demonstrations, seminars and speakers. All providing best practice advice and opinions on a full ranges of sector topics. Visitors to the event are able to speak to a wide range of suppliers and manufacturers, whilst being able to attend the speaker and seminar sessions in order to build upon technical knowledge and ascertain opinions on the future of the industry from key market players.

This year also saw a speed shear taking place at the end of the event, giving experienced shearers the chance to showcase their skills and win some coveted prizes.
